How many people can the front room accommodate?

With the front, sliding doors closed, the front room can accommodate 50-70 people, depending on the table setup. With the front, sliding doors open, which is typical in the warmer months, we can accommodate many more.

How many people can the loft accommodate?

The loft can accommodate up to 25 people max.

Is Brown Barn Farms really a barn?

Yes it is! It is over 100 years old.

Is the floor in the front room really just gravel?

Yes, the floor in the front room is just gravel. As such, the ground may have some uneven surfaces.

What kinds of parties do you host?

We host birthday parties, anniversaries, mixers, rehearsal dinners, receptions, bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. We do not host weddings.

How much does it cost to rent a room and what is included?

The fee for the room varies based on the number of expected attendees and the requested date. The room fee allows for 3 hours in either room as well as an additional hour included at no charge for setup and decoration. Please e-mail us at events@orangecountydistillery.com for pricing.

How long can I rent each room for my own private party?

We typically allow for 3 hours. Additional hours are available at an additional cost.

Can I rent both rooms at the same time?

No, we not rent out both rooms at the same time unless the entire facility is rented out (see next question).

Can I rent out the entire facility?

We rarely rent out the entire facility during our regular business days between Friday and Sunday. We do allow rental of the entire facility Monday through Thursday. Please e-mail us at events@orangecountydistillery.com for pricing and availability. Serious inquiries only please.

Are drinks included with the room fee?

No, drinks are not included. Typically the host will start a tab at the main bar and all guests are provided with a wristband to order on the tab. The host may opt to go to a cash bar for their guests at any time.

Do you offer an all-you-can-drink option?

No, we do not offer an all-you-can-drink option.

Can we bring in outside drinks?

All beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, must be purchased from us, with no exceptions. Please note that is illegal for patrons to bring their own alcohol onto our premises.

Do you offer food?

We do not offer food for private events, however we have a preferred vendor. Please reach out to Melt about your catering needs.

Can we bring in our own food or catering?

Absolutely. If bringing in outside food, you and/or your caterer are fully responsible for all linens, utensils, plates, bowls, napkins, serving trays, burners, etc.

Is the barn heated in the winter months?

Yes, we have a wood stove, a pellet stove as well as central heating.

Can I decorate the room for my party?

Absolutely. We just ask that you do not use any glitter or confetti, and that all balloons are weighed down so they don’t float up into our rafters.
