Private Events
If you are looking to book a private party, then look no further. Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms has two rustic farm-style rooms available for private parties. We rent our rooms for just about any private event. Birthday parties, surprise parties, baby showers, bridal showers, wedding receptions, business meetings, etc.

How many people can the front room accommodate?
With the front sliding doors closed, the front room can accommodate 50-70 people, depending on the table setup. With the front sliding doors open, which is typical in the warmer months, we can accommodate many more people.
How many people can the loft accommodate?
The loft can accommodate up to 25 people max.
Is Brown Barn Farms really a barn?
Yes it is! It is over 110 years old.
Is the floor in the front room really just gravel?
Yes, the floor in the front room is just gravel. As such, the ground may have some uneven surfaces.
What kinds of parties do you host?
We host birthday parties, anniversaries, mixers, rehearsal dinners, receptions, bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. We do host weddings, however we require the entire property to be rented for weddings.
How much does it cost to rent a room and what is included?
The fee for the room varies based on the number of expected attendees and the requested date. The room fee allows for 3 hours in either room as well as an additional hour included at no charge for setup and decoration. How long can I rent each room for my own private party?
We typically allow for 3 hours. Additional hours are available at an additional cost.
Can I rent both rooms at the same time?
No, we typically not rent out both rooms at the same time unless the entire facility is rented out (see next question).
Can I rent out the entire facility?
We occasionally rent out the entire facility to large parties during our regular business days between Friday and Sunday. We do allow rental of the entire facility Monday through Thursday. Are drinks included with the room fee?
No, drinks are not included unless you purchase or Full or Open Bar options (see next question).
Do you offer an all-you-can-drink option?
Yes, we do offer all-you-can-drink options. Pricing varies, so details will be provided in response to your response request.
Can we bring in outside drinks?
All beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, must be purchased from us, with no exceptions. Please note that is illegal for patrons to bring their own alcohol onto our premises.
Do you offer food?
We do not offer food for private events, however we do have a preferred vendor who operates our food truck on the premise. Please reach out to Melt about your catering needs.
Can we bring in our own food or catering?
Absolutely. If bringing in outside food, you and/or your caterer are fully responsible for all linens, utensils, plates, bowls, napkins, serving trays, burners, etc.
Is the barn heated in the winter months?
Yes, we have central heating as well as a wood stove and a pellet stove.
Can I decorate the room for my party?
Absolutely. We just ask that you do not use any glitter or confetti, and that all balloons are weighed down so they don’t float up into our rafters.
